Presenting a series infusing documentation and subliminal visuals, this exclusive series of books demonstrates an in-depth trip. Documenting liminal space focuses on the ambient abyss empty areas hold. Exhibiting a developed contrast between the past and the present illusion of time I explore historical and modern architecture. Each book carefully hand crafted over a 20+ hour process, I produced a small 6 book collection carved from the origin of a simple strip of fabric and an a5 piece of card. Perfectly binded and pressed after hours of testing, I present my limited silver edition series. Inspired by a scene from a Studio Ghibli classic, The Sixth Station (Spirited away, 2003) The Sixth Station (Joe Hisaishi, 2001) I desired to bring to life the same optic of abandoned bliss within the illustrated train station that was drawn by Hayao Miyazaki.
