Ephemeral Eternity, Magazine

This body of work is particularly special to me __ growing up in a faith school it was mandatory to study a religion, I was steeped in Christian teachings being surrounded by this of the majority until I discovered Buddhism.I was captivated by the allure of Buddhist practices, and found myself drawn to their profound spirituality, offering a perspective that resonated deeply with my own beliefs, being in a trance of deep contemplation of what life meant to me this religion profoundly influenced my life’s purpose.

Delving into the depths of Buddhist philosophy, I learnt about the concept of reincarnation, where the soul traverses lifetimes in an endless cycle of rebirth. Simultaneously, Nietzsche’s theory of eternal recurrence* proposed that life, with its myriad experiences, repeats infinitely. This dual exploration revealed to me the intricate rhythms of existence, shaping my understanding of life’s cyclical nature. Inspired by these profound insights, this magazine serves as a homage to the ceaseless flow of life, capturing its visual essence in all its complexity. My aim was to bring together my own representation of each phase of life cycling down each chapter of existence breaking apart through visual transparency, showcasing talent from a variety of artists to build up this collaborative project.
